Wednesday, February 1, 2012Egypt Soccer RiotAt least 74 people have been killed and 1,000 injured after a football pitch invasion in Egypt, according to reports.  I've just heard this bad news while driving to my office. This is disaster. This is madness. Totally madness. I can't believe the riot happened just because of football. At least 74 peoples have been killed a thousand of them were injured. According to some of news, most of them died because of head injuries. Many people were crying for help, for police or army intervention. They spent almost an hour without any army or police protection - this resulted in the bad injuries of hundreds of people.  One of the player described it as " a war" because people are dying in front of them.  RIP to all who died in this riot. May the God bless Egypt. Give them strength but not for a kill. Give them the spirit but not for a war. We just want, the "awareness". Hopefully, this will not happen again in the future.
